She’s growing up.

on Jul 7, 2010 in General

My youngest daughter is growing up so fast.  I’ve got to take more pictures of her to archive her youth as my eldest is already graduating high school next year and will be attending college.  I’ve never appreciated life so much as I do now.  I love watching my kids grow and discovering new things.  My youngest keeps me in stitches as she is the comedic relief in our family.  She is so funny.  I’m not sure where she comes up with some of her phrases or creative ideas at times.  My eldest is so creative.  She’ll probably surpass me in the areas of Photography and Videography.  She is amazing.

Stephen Colbert: “Why Should I Twitter More?”

on Apr 10, 2009 in Social Networking, Twitter

(Posted by Julia Roy @ http://is.gd/rPeA) I attended last night’s taping of The Colbert Report, and during audience Q&A ahead of the show, I had the chance to let Stephen Colbert (@stephenathome) know my followers believe he needs to tweet more. His response and our back-and-forth dialog, while hilarious, also brought up some serious questions [...]

Everything’s Amazing and Nobody’s Happy

on Apr 7, 2009 in Humor

This Conan O’Brien show which had Louis CK (comedian) on was amazingly funny as Louis sheds light on how today’s society consists of spoiled brats that are unsatisfied with menial problems in our high tech world! It’s crazy but I am so familiar with some of the things that he grew up with.

Red Wine and White Wine

on Apr 7, 2009 in Wine

I have been wondering about the difference between red wines and white wines. To me, they taste quite different. Red wines are heavier and more complex than white wine, and often tend to be less sweet. Why is this? Actually red and white wines are made quite differently. The differences between red and white wines [...]

iPhone & iTouch Applications

I am amazed with what Apple has accomplished with the iPhone and iPod Touch.  I was never interested in developing applications for mobile devices or iPods because of the limited screen size, but through recent discovery of internet based applications for my iPod Touch I have changed my outlook on this.  The screen transitions are amazing, [...]

Delicious Design

on Aug 15, 2007 in Computer Hardware, Technology

Apple had recently released their newly designed iMac computer.  It sports a sleaker new look with glass and aluminum.  Their new slim keyboards looks beautiful also.  I’ve always admired apple products for their industrial design.  They’re always aesthetically pleasing. Lately, because of the anticipation of the birth of my baby girl I have been contemplating [...]
